The Sovereign Order of St John of Jerusalem,
1994

FACT FILE:

This Order appears to have emerged from the Paternò/Montaldo "Order" and was founded in 1994. The Canadian Grand Priory of the Paterno Order had for its Grand Prior, Frendo Cumbo, who in the mid-late 1990s was involved in forming yet another "Order of St John", of which today he occupies the elevated position as Grand Master. The "Order" managed to gain the patronage of the exiled King Michael of Rumania, which duplicated the success of the de Cassagnac Order, in gaining a Royal Patron.
